Dogs
Baloo
Breed: Lab mix Age: 3 yrs Sex: Neutered male Resident since: January 2024 This is our bear- I mean- dog, Baloo! When Baloo arrived at LAH, he was stubborn and highly independent. After months of training, he is now engaged with the person handling him and enthusiastic to please his person for praise. Because of his size and background, it is recommended that Baloo go to an intermediate or advanced dog owner who can continue his training. He would benefit from a home that works with him daily. He loves to work! If you are interested in Baloo, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application! |
Black Bean
Breed: Lab Mix Age: 1 year Sex: Neutered Male Resident as of: March 2024 Black Bean is energetic and excited to interact with everyone. While Black Bean has difficulty managing his excitement, he is very food motivated and receptive. If you are interested in Black Bean, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application! |
Prime
Breed: Shepard Mix Age: 6-9 months Sex: Neutered Male Resident as of: April 2024 Prime is an energetic and independent pup! He would do best in a home without small kids and would benefit most from a home with the time and resources to train and socialize him. When he's comfortable, he has confidence in himself and is affectionate and playful with the people around him. When he lacks confidence in his environment, he lacks confidence in the people around him. Prime has shown to be receptive and willing to interact at LAH, so staff believe with the help of a stable and committed home, Prime could learn to love and trust the people in his life wholeheartedly. If you are interested in Prime, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application! |
R2-D2
Breed: Lab mix Age: 6-9 months Sex: Neutered Male Resident as of: May 2024 R2 is energetic and charismatic. He loves to cuddle, loves treats, and most of all- loves to play! He could entertain himself forever by throwing his toy around in the air and chasing after it, but enjoys just as much if you want to join in on the fun too with a game of tug-of-war. Wherever you go, R2 will follow. He is the happiest knowing his human is nearby! R2 would do well in most homes. If you are interested in R2D2, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application! |
Vader
Breed: Lab mix Age: 6-9 months Sex: Intact Male Resident as of: May 2024 He may be named after Darth Vader, but his only “dark side” is his coat color. Other than that, he is a very good boy! Vader is the most curious of the bunch. He wants to investigate everything high and low! And being a clumsy puppy unsure of his size, he may knock over a thing or two while he explores. Vader very much yearns for adventure, he just needs a new human who can make that happen! |

Wallee
* SPECIAL NEEDS *
Breed: Domestic shorthair tabby
Age: Senior
Sex: Intact female
Resident since: January 2024
Wallee is an affectionate and curious girl. Wallee is a senior with an unknown background and is estimated to be 10+ years. It is difficult to estimate her age with certainty due to the unique trait of missing all her teeth! Wallee, however, is a voracious eater with plenty of energy. Staff often find her climbing kennels during free-roam.
Because of her age and absence of teeth, it is recommended that Wallee be the only cat in the home or live with a small number of cats and people that can accommodate her needs. Additionally, Wallee's diet is strictly canned food formulated for food sensitivities for ease of consumption and digestion.
If you are interested in Wallee, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application!

Mammina
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Tabby Age: 1.5 yrs Sex: Spayed Female Resident since: March 2024 Mammina was brought to LAH as a lactating stray missing her kittens. Fortunately, her arrival coincided with that of a litter of stray kittens needing a nursing mom. Her kittens have since been adopted, which leaves Mammina waiting for her new home. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She would do well in most homes, however, her new home should properly introduce her if there are other cats in the home. |
Marley
Breed: Red Abyssinian Age: 16 years Sex: Neutered Male Resident since: April 2024 Marley has spent most of his life with one person, but due to no fault of his own, is in search of a new forever home. Marley was very defensive and shy when he arrived at LAH, but with time, he relaxed into an attention seeking and affectionate companion. His new home might expect a shy transition period as he adjust to his new life and family. Staff recommend a smaller family and quieter home for this beautiful senior to properly adjust and live out his golden years. If you are interested in Marley, please give the clinic a call and fill out an adoption application! |
All animals are given age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We currently have a few waiting to get spayed or neutered. If you are wanting to adopt, please fill out an application! We can give you a call if we get a dog or cat that you would be interested in.
